Meet Dr Giovanni Luigi De Maria MD, PhD
Dr Giovanni Luigi De Maria is a leading Consultant Interventional Cardiologist in Oxford, internationally recognised for his expertise in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of heart disease . He specialises in minimally invasive coronary interventions, resistant hypertension, and advanced therapies for chest pain, including refractory and microvascular angina . Having trained in world-renowned centres in Italy and the UK, he now leads pioneering programmes at the John Radcliffe Hospital, such as Renal Denervation and the Coronary Sinus Reducer initiative . As a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Oxford, Dr De Maria combines his active research and teaching roles with a commitment to ensuring patients benefit from the latest advances in cardiovascular medicine .
